Since September 11, 2001, the combined efforts of our law enforcement agencies and military has kept the war on terror on the other side of the ocean. We have seen our brave troops take it to the enemy, and we have seen plots foiled by courageous federal and local law enforcement officers. Yesterday, our nation was attacked from within by a terrorist within our own Army. Maj. Nadal Malik Hasan viciously attacked unarmed soldiers at Fort Hood, shouting "Allahu Akbar!" before murdering 12 soldiers and 1 civilian and injuring 30 others. The death toll would have been higher. Hasan paused to reload to continue his Islamic jihad, but was stopped by Police Officer Kimberly Munley. Munley (pictured right) was herself shot, but managed to plug Hasan four times. He was presumed dead; unfortunately, he was not.
The Media Mafia is blatantly ignoring the fact that Hasan is a faithful Muslim. They do not want "bigots" like me to jump to any conclusions. If Hasan had been a Baptist and had cried out "Abortion is murder" before shooting the place up, the Media Mafia would have told us all about him, his church, his pastor, and who teaches the first grade Sunday School class.
The fact is that the vicious attack, not in a battle, but in a readiness center where the soldiers were unarmed, is evidence that that we have ticking time bombs inside our own military. Can you imagine the harm this man might have done in a combat situation in Iraq or Afghanistan? Can you imagine what someone like him could do in he was in the intelligence field? Hasan was not merely Muslim - he was vocal in his protest against the war against terror - and yet he was going to be sent over there to serve side by side with our brave troops!
We need to learn that the "wild man" is still wild (Gen. 16:12).
Please pray for the troops and families involved in this attack. Also pray for Pastor Olton Philips and the good folks at Northside Baptist Church in Killeen as I am sure that they will be ministering to many.

Bro. James you couldn't be more right. Our country needs to wake up. There are no telling how many more people are just like this man waiting for their opportunity. I pray that God uses this to wake people up in our country and in our churches!
That the enemy want to kill us is not unusual. That he has no compunction of killing unarmed non-combatants is known of Muslims. That cowardice is normal among the followers of Islam is known.
All this angers me but the thing that makes me crazy is the dish-water response from the president and the press ignoring his Islamic faith.

This makes me so mad it hurts. I think the people that try and pretend it has nothing to do with their Muslim faith are just a guilty as the terrorists.

This not only angers me but scares me. I just keep begging God to remember that there is still a remnant here who stand for Him and serve Him and for His protection from harm both from outside the borders and from within. One of our old teens from our old youth group is stationed at Ft. Hood right now and his mom says he is physically safe but emotionally torn up about what happened.
